Mark Kingdon Linden Lab Mark Kingdon, MBA Wharton School of Business, BA Economics UCLA, aka M Linden, is CEO, Linden Lab, leading the day-to-day management and operations of the company. Mark has extensive experience building social media and computing services including platforms practice, strategic guidance, and operational support. Under his leadership the newest developments in Second Life have emerged including SL Enterprise, Second Life Microsites, and the new Shared Media Client. Philip Rosedale Love Machine Philip Rosedale, Founder and Chairman of the Board of Linden Lab, led the creation of the virtual world of Second Life from initial concept to a market-leading virtual world, with a robust economy and a global population. Rosedale is known for his entrepreneurial approach to new technologies, pursuing his lifelong dream of creating an internet scale virtual world. In 2009 he started his new initiative, Love Machine. Nicole Yankelovich Open Wonderland Foundation Nicole Yankelovich is Executive Director, Open Wonderland Foundation, and Visiting Scientist, Center for Educational Computing Initiatives at MIT. The Open Wonderland source project provides is a free and open source toolkit designed to create 3D virtual worlds for education, business, and government applications. Robert Bloomfield Cornell's Johnson School of Business Management

Since coming to Cornell's Johnson School of Business Management in 1991, Professor Bloomfield has used laboratory experiments to examine the effects of financial market regulations on investor welfare, and to explore how psychological forces can alter the behavior of financial markets. Professor Bloomfield is an advocate for serious uses of virtual worlds for education and distance collaboration. He hosts the weekly Metanomics event series in Second Life, which explores business and policy aspects of new technology.
